A few questions
What does it mean to book a private tour?
Private tours offer a more intimate and personalised experience; the only people on board with you will be the group you’ve chosen to book your trip with.
What is a typical day like on a dinghy?
The trip usually starts from Lipari (though it is possible to set off from other points in the Aeolian Islands); we then set sail for our destination and, once we arrive, we get on with the activities (swimming, snorkelling,
exploring bays, sea stacks and caves, and visiting the various villages along the route) before finally heading back.
How long does the trip last?
Our excursions last around 8 hours. Most tours run from 10:00 to 18:00, allowing you to make the most of each destination at a leisurely pace. The exception is the Panarea and Stromboli tour, which runs from 14:00 to 22:00: a schedule designed specifically to let you admire the spectacular volcanic eruptions after sunset.
As these are private and exclusive tours, you can tailor the duration to suit your needs: whether you prefer a shorter trip or want to extend the adventure, contact us and we’ll organise everything to suit you.
What time are we leaving?
The tour usually departs at 10:00 am, with a scheduled return at 6:00 pm. The Panarea & Stromboli tour, however, follows a different schedule, running from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, so you can witness the spectacular volcanic eruptions after sunset.
As these are private and exclusive tours, it is possible to arrange bespoke timings: whether you’d like a shorter trip or to extend the adventure, contact us and we’ll organise everything to suit your needs.
What about lunch?
On board, you’ll find water, fresh seasonal fruit and everything you need for an aperitif (wine and snacks).
You can have lunch on board the dinghy, or you can go ashore on one of the islands and visit a restaurant.
What do I need to do to book a tour?
You can choose one of the tours listed on the website or request a fully bespoke itinerary tailored to your preferences. To book, simply contact us on WhatsApp: we’ll sort out all the details together in just a few messages. A deposit of around a third of the total amount is required to confirm your booking.
If the weather is bad on the day of the tour, what arrangements will be made?
You could try to find an alternative date or itinerary. If this cannot be resolved, the deposit will be refunded.
If I change my mind just before the tour date, will I lose my deposit?
Yes, the deposit is required to secure your place on the tour and to cover the organisational costs already incurred (boats, logistics, etc.). If you cancel at short notice, we are unable to reallocate your place in time.
